Dimitri de Morea worked as a psychotherapist (for 18 years) prior to becoming a philosopher, life counsellor and coach. He has worked with a wide variety of people helping them with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, career changes, cultural and social adaptation, life transitions and personal growth.

Raised in France and Italy, Dimitri moved to San Francisco for his university studies, where he earned a Bachelors in History and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. He later obtained his Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

He is a graduate of the Integral Counselling Center in San Francisco, a counselling clinic with a humanistic orientation, a former member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and lecturer at the Canadian Mental Health Association. Dimitri has also been invited to talk and conduct workshops at, among others, UC Berkeley, Simon Fraser University, Hollyhock, the Government of Canada and Radio Canada.

Prior to his work as a life counsellor and coach, Dimitri gained a wealth of experience working as an economist, a university researcher and a producer in the multimedia industry. He has lived and worked in a variety of cities, including Paris, Geneva, Turin, San Francisco and Vancouver, gaining a wealth of life experience in the process! As a result of all his voyages, he is a native-level speaker of English, French and Italian.

Dimitri enjoys his work greatly and he has seen many people make changes and transform in ways that they did not think were possible. He feels very grateful to have found his calling and to help people lead more fulfilling lives.

My profession and my art is to live.
